Light on the Horizon (Previously A Serenade of Movement)

Light on the Horizon, a new work by regional composer A.K. Jaquith speaks to emergence from the pandemic.  There is great hope and optimism that is in stark contrast to the more poignant moments of the Elgar Cello Concerto which would be the Composer’s final statement.  Smetana’s depiction of the mighty river Moldau suggests that time and circumstance ebb and flow much like nature itself, and give us hope in a brighter future.
